Next, the cleaned tomatoes are transferred to containers where they are thoroughly crushed. Sugar, vinegar, and salt are added to enhance their flavour.

Subsequently, the mixture is boiled and left in a container with the lid open for two hours to thicken. It is then poured into special bottles, which are labelled and carefully checked by quality-control workers. Once they pass inspection, the bottles are packed into boxes and transported to supermarkets, where they are eventually purchased and enjoyed with meals.
