🧠 Anterograde Amnesia
فراموشی پیشگستر
The inability to form new memories after a brain injury. The person may recall events from before the injury but cannot learn or retain new information (e.g., forgetting what they did just minutes ago).
🧠 Alexia
الکسی (اختلال خواندن)
A reading impairment despite preserved vision and normal intelligence. For example, in alexia without agraphia, the person cannot read but can still write (often caused by damage to the left occipital lobe and corpus callosum).
🧠 Agraphia
آگرافیا (اختلال نوشتن)
A writing impairment without obvious motor deficits (e.g., hand paralysis). This may include difficulty writing unfamiliar words or irregularly spelled words (e.g., words with non-phonetic spellings).
🧠 Hemineglect (Unilateral Neglect)
بیتوجهی یکطرفه
A condition where a patient ignores one side of space (usually the left), despite intact sensory and motor functions. For example, they may draw only half of a picture or eat food only from the right side of a plate.
🧠 Agnosia
ادراکپریشی
An impairment in recognizing stimuli despite intact sensory perception. The patient can see, hear, or touch objects but cannot understand their meaning. For example, in object agnosia, a person may see scissors but fail to recognize them.
