Statement by the Sana'a University Council
The Sana'a University Council stands in profound admiration and appreciation of the noble humanitarian stance and ethical uprising undertaken by freedom-loving students and academics at universities worldwide. These individuals have demonstrated unwavering courage in restoring humanity to mankind and awakening moral conscience in the face of the horrific war crimes and genocide inflicted upon the oppressed Palestinian people by the global Zionist system, embodied by the neo-Nazis in the usurping Zionist entity that occupies the noble land of Palestine.

With utmost reverence and esteem, the Council wholeheartedly commends this humanitarian stance and the moral conscience embodied by this noble movement. The Council calls upon all individuals and groups who value freedom and possess a living conscience, as well as nations, institutions, and universities across the globe, to stand in solidarity with this humanitarian movement, denounce the heinous crimes perpetrated by Zionist aggression, and demand an immediate end to the war and the atrocities committed against the oppressed Palestinian people.

The Council also condemns the appalling acts of torture, silencing, and suppression of freedom of opinion and expression inflicted upon academics and students from American and European universities. These actions have unmasked the true nature of those regimes that falsely claim to uphold democracy and respect human rights and dignity.

In solidarity with these protests and demonstrations, and as a practical stance in support, Sana'a University opens its doors in all its specializations to welcome, with the utmost appreciation, honor, and respect, all academics and students who have been unjustly dismissed from their institutions. We extend our warmest welcome and utmost respect to these individuals, offering them a safe haven within our academic community. They may contact us through the university's email: [email protected].
