The Battlegrounds Mobile India application appears to have been removed from both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The title was launched in India on July 2, 2021 after the ban of PUBG Mobile In the country.

Those who have installed it, are still able to play it on their Andriod and iOS devices.

Indian Government or Krafton have not commented on the ban yet.

BGIS 2022 registration was scheduled to open from July 28 but it has not open as of yet Recently, the parliament member, Shri Vijayasai Reddy asked several questions to Meity regarding the game ban. He asked to Electronics and Information Technology whether banned apps are appearing in a new avatar by similar sounding names or rebranded with the same functionality and managing to circumvent security.
