Quick update on the Crooked House:

The owners of the site have been on holiday in Corfu recently trying to lay low while the media firestorm is raging, it didn't work and the press followed them there to ask questions.

Mr Taylor responded:
"Just p*** off and let us have a holiday... We didn't answer anything in the UK because of the police investigation so we're not f***ing gonna answer anything here, are we?"

Other than that little happened until yesterday when fences went back up at the site and workmen arrived.

Reports are a little confused on this point and much of it is unreliable hearsay. It seems the workmen are supposed to be there to prepare the bricks for removal, saying that they would be packed carefully and transported to somewhere for safekeeping.

The locals, understandably, didn't believe a word of this, not least because these workmen were claiming the fences were to keep the public out as their was a high risk of Asbestos being present.

If asbestos was present then those men who tore the building down haphazardly weeks back are going to be in for a nasty shock, as unfortunately might be many members of the public who have been down there. However, I think this is not the case as even the workers who were there warning of asbestos were still wearing absolutely no PPE. Something you wouldn't do if you truly believed there was a risk.

Many didn't know how to respond; contacting the council, and MP's to little use as the work went on. One lady decided to try something else; there's only one access track up the road, and she sat there blocking it. (Pictured)

A local paranormal group stayed all night at the site to make sure the bricks couldn't be removed quietly after everyone else went home.

Finally more than 24 hours later the media, council, MP's are showing their face. The entire situation is ongoing and still no one is sure what will happen to the remains of the Crooked House.
