It might seem outrageous at first glance, but the similarities between 'Harry Potter' and 'The Secret of the Pyramid' are astounding:
First, the structure of the protagonist trios is similar. Both feature two boys and a girl in a school setting, trying to solve mysteries. π§βπ€βπ§π§ Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Furthermore, details in the characters' traits such as the round glasses, the hairstyle, and even the protagonists' personalities show great coincidences.
The gothic school environment and the presence of a hidden evil being are other similarities that jump out. Even the interior design of Hogwarts resembles that of the private school Watson and Holmes attend. π°π Also, the fencing scenes remind us quite a bit of Quidditch. βοΈπ§Ή
Was JK Rowling inspired by the 1985 movie? Or is it simply a coincidence? Regardless of the answer, this theory opens up an interesting debate about originality and inspiration in literature. What do you guys think?

Hey folks! π Remember that infamous 1938 Halloween prank by Orson Welles? π½ On October 30th, Welles, with his Mercury Theatre troupe, aired a "War of the Worlds" adaptation so realistic it caused panic! π»π± The first two-thirds of the show were faux news bulletins about Martians attacking Earth. Late joiners missed the disclaimer, leading to a nationwide stir. Despite the chaos, it launched Welles to stardom and changed broadcasting forever. It's a historic testament to the power of media, and the program's legacy endures even today!π π

π New #MovieDuel! The Hateful Eight π¨ VS. Django Unchained π€ , two masterpieces from one of my favorite directors, Quentin Tarantino.
The Hateful Eight, an intense thriller set in a snowed-in cabin that plays with tension and suspense. Django Unchained, a bold and bloody western that reimagines history with its signature style.
Both have left their mark in the past decade of cinema. So, a dilemma for movie lovers:
