What’s different?
A reason is why someone chooses to do something.
“The reason I moved to London was for work.”
A purpose is the overall goal.
“The purpose was to build a better life for my family.”
A cause is what makes something happen — often naturally or without a decision.
“The cause of the flood was heavy rain.”
