The Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) used to fasten his belt, stay awake all night (praying), and awaken his family»

«Seek out Laylatul Al-Qadr (The Night of Decree) in the odd nights during the last ten nights of Ramadan»

The Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said: «Whoever stands in Laylatul Al-Qadr (The Night of Decree) with true faith and hoping for Allahs reward, his previous sins are forgiven»

Aiisha reported:
«Oh Messenger of Allah, if I realise Lailatul Qadr (Night of Decree), what should I supplicate during it?” The Messenger of Allah, (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), replied, “You should supplicate: Allahumma innaka `afuwwun, tuhibbul-`afwa, fa`fu `anni (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me)»
