. لا يوجد هناك قاعدة محددة متى نستخدم كلا الكلمتين، ولكن هناك مجموعة من الكلمات تأتي دائماً مع make وأخرى تأتي دائماً مع do.
2. لا يُمكن استخدام make محلّ do أو العكس.
3. حاول أن تحفظ الكلمات التي تأتي مع الفعل make والكلمات التي تأتي مع الفعل do كما هو موضح أسفل:
