Recognizing the need for young people to participate in climate policy discussions, the COP28 Presidency and Youth Climate Champion, H.E. Shamma Al Mazrui, have launched a subsidised accommodation initiative for young people with Blue Zone accreditation to attend COP28. The initiative reflects the COP28 Presidency's commitment towards empowering youth and paving the way for just and inclusive climate action.
To apply for subsidized accommodation, please complete the following form by Saturday November 4th 11:59PM Gulf Standard Time and provide us with as much accurate information as possible: https://forms.gle/QzzTpnJNse5UJokQ8
Please note that submitting this form does not guarantee that you will receive subsidized accommodation for COP28. Each submission will be reviewed by our team, and selections will be made to ensure regional diversity (with a focus on delegates from underrepresented communities) and gender balance, and will prioritize delegates with clear engagements at COP28. We will aim to respond to your application by Saturday November 11th. Please do not complete this form if you are a COY18 delegate who requires subsidized accommodation during COY18 and COP28, as a separate form will be shared with COY delegates.
Subsidized accommodation will be offered at USD30 per night. Selected applicants will receive a link to complete their nonrefundable booking, for which a credit or debit card will be required. Full terms and conditions will be available on the booking website.
