The word β€œgenerational” is thrown around way too often. However, I have to tip my hat towards Chelsea here.

Both Kendry PΓ‘ez and EstΓͺvΓ£o are two of the best talents I’ve ever witnessed in South America.

You won’t find a better duo across the entire continent right now.

🚨 BREAKING : Todd Boehly:

β€œWe’ve seen the last 2.5 games, at least in the second half at Aston Villa and Tottenham and West Ham where we played just beautiful football. It was so fluid, it was exactly the way we drew it up…”

β€œIn those two and a half games, you could really start to see what we were working on coming together. Even the commentary has changed over the last two and a half games. I’ve never seen anything change so quickly.”

β€œIt was so fluid, it was exactly the way we drew it up, when we came out of the back, built up and we moved up the pitch, very organised and the number of shots we had on board”

β€œIn order to compete, you have to have growing revenue. A brand like Chelsea, really allows for that how much of growing that brand, especially globally is predicated on winning.”

β€œI think that winning is at the top of the things that’s most important...”

🚨 Boehly: β€œWe have got a global group of players from Argentina to Brazil”

β€œPart of the long-range plan will be really to extend the brand as much as possible to build a fan base because ultimately the larger our fan base grows, the more competitive we’ll be able to be because these salary caps are based on revenue”

Fluminense club president Mario Bittencourt: "We have a huge affection for Chelsea. The way they treated us from the beginning of negotiations until the end, they were not intransigent at any time. They let him [Thiago Silva] wear the shirt, they let him arrive sooner.

We are a club with origins in England, Fluminense was founded by English people, and we have huge affection for Chelsea. The way they respected us, they were very kind. I am a Chelsea fan in England and they showed impressive grandeur."

🚨 Chelsea have been put off a potential deal for Athletic Club's Nico Williams due to his wage demands.

Williams is already earning around €200,000-per-week and would expect more than this should he make a switch.

54 injuries and a total of 309 days is actually insane...
🚨 Chelsea will stick to their plan of holding an end-of-season review in the days after the club’s final game against Bournemouth, which will ultimately determine the future of head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Nuno EspΓrito Santo on facing Chelsea: "A very tough opponent, full of quality. Everybody can see what Mauricio [Pochettino] is trying to do. It's a new team, new players, he's trying to put them together for them to gel and they are definitely in a good moment.

They are playing good and it will require a lot from us, determination, commitment, to start winning individual duels, progress and try to win the game."

🚨OFFICIAL: Chelsea have been crowned Premier League injury table champions
Chelsea will stick to their plan to hold an end-of-season review when Mauricio Pochettino's future will become clear. Also no plans at the moment to give up a Europa Conference League place should the team qualify.

The end-of-season review, which is likely to include Pochettino, sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, and members of the co-ownership team of Behdad Eghbali, Todd Boehly and Jose E Feliciano, is expected to take place in the days after the Bournemouth game.

Emmanuel Petit: "Individually, several players have improved for Chelsea in recent games and Jackson is one of them.

I’m confident he will score more goals when they get better collectively and so far he’s had a good first season. I’m confident he can score 30 goals next season, if they keep Pochettino he will only get better."
