Hundred Rabbits is an artist collective living and working aboard a small sailboat in remote parts of the world to explore low-tech and resilient ways of living. Rek and Devine create small playful free open-source software that works offline is easy to repair and supports old hardware, following principles of freedom sustainability and community. They fight oppressive systems like racism sexism colonialism and rigid gender norms, and focus on tools that empower human creativity and self-sufficiency rather than locking people in. Their website is a living archive documenting projects and learnings freely available to study remix and improve while respecting their work.
